Updates!!
Was just going through the latest updates on businessweek. Came up with this article, thats what I call height of optimism. Lol!
Another hilarious article of the day, I have been hearing this for the past 3 years. :o. I think India & Pak have finally realised the concept of cost cutting. :D
Cricket Stories..!!If you think of the
WI cricket team, Captaincy is a joke.
If you think of the
Pak cricket team, retirement is a joke. Its surprising that he is not coming back as the captain of the team. :D
Argentina's Ronaldhino..!People call him (Riquelme) Argentina's answer to Ronaldhino, dun think he is that good. Missed the spot kick and probably the best chance Villareal had. That is what I wanted, it will be nice to see Barca's screwing Arsenal.
Weekend!!This weekend rocked, Friday night a couple of friends went to a pub, but to our misery I am living in Hyderabad. The pubs stop music not at 1-2 like Delhi-Bombay, they close it at 11, shocking is'nt it.
Saturday was fun, getting up late, having a nice breakfast. Watching hera-pheri and then going to a nice restrau for lunch. Came back watched Liverpool vs Chelsea, and Liverpool rocked. Sunday bought something I had my eyes on since I could remember. A nice blue Swatch. All an all a weekend to remember, except for Kimi who was invisible at Imola. :-(. Came a distant fifth, but not to take credits away from Schumacher, a well deserved victory with an inferior car.
Raceday!
This Sunday after a gap of 3 weeks, F1 arrives Imola at San Marino . Hope this enhanced version of Mclaren (supposedly improved aerodynamics, thanks to there visit to Paul Richard and Barcelona) has the mettle to take on arrogant Alonso's Renault and Ferrari at home.
GO Kimi GO! U need a finn to win the race! :-). Good luck Kimi and Mclaren. Hope to see Mclaren/Kimi take on the cheaquered flag.
India level series in style.
Yesterday's match was superb, batsmen taking charge, veeru back with a bang, seamers bowling to a tight line and powar diving in the field :D. Inzy again came up with his inshahallah line which I so much love, esp. when he says it after losing the match. :D. Soccer (club) season is waiting for the climax, UEFA champions league will reach Paris in a couple of matches. It will be nice to see Barca take on Gunners in the final, with Ronaldhino in the peak of his form, reigned in San Sarino, will surely reign in Paris.
First Blog......
My first blog on blogspot.com, was thinking of posting on it for a while, but my lazitude has always been a hinderance in making a start.
Bussiness Week..!!Bussiness week came up with a survey about the most innovative co.'s. Survey says, West still dominates in the field of innovation and shockingly none of the Asian companies (except from Japan) were able to break into the top 25. Personally, I was expecting a couple of firms from India/China walking into it, for the amount of innovation shown by them in the recent past.
Later pondering on the issue, I contemplated that companies in India/China are still to come up with a brand which could give them a recognition in the world market (Most of the companies in the list, if not all are product companies). Probably shows how much biggies in India (Infy, Tata's and Wipro - Its only IT I can think of - Not much work in world level outside of IT is done in India :op) are squandering on cheap outsourcing, rather than crafting products to make a dent in the world market.
I guess time has come when these biggies should ally with top institutes (IIT's/IISc/IIM's) and come up with products worth world fame which will align with the euphoria of India arriving on the world map.
